Graff... history of brand.

Graff is nowadays synonymous with yellow diamonds, with a legacy that includes many of the world's most important and rare yellow jewels. As Laurence Graff said once: "The potential to craft a diamond that could join its hall of noble, historic and world famous stones was a thrilling prospect."

Graff has come a long way from his early start in 1960 at the age of just 24 he opened two namesake retail stores in London. It's philosophy is in pursuing the perfect beauty.

In 1970, he created a 1 million US dollars ornate design of diamonds and gems named "Hair & Jewel" coiffure, and in 1974 he acquired the 47.39ct Star of Bombay diamond, securing the House of Graff's status as one of the world's most exclusive jewellers.

The famous image with coiffure was revisited in 2013 and featured 500 million US dollars of gems to commemorate Graff's 60 years in business.

History of brand... Loewe.

One thing common amongst big names in fashion like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Hermes is their immensely colourful heritage. From modest beginnings, they have grown to be recognisable brands.

Loewe (pronounced LO-ee-VAY) is of no exception. Founded in Madrid, it originally existed in 1846 as a collective workshop of leather artisans – after which it was taken over by Enrique Loewe Roessberg 26 years later.

Thereon, the Loewe name in Spain has been synonymous with elegance and refinement, but especially for leather goods. It is said that a certain handbag in iguana, crocodile or snakeskin from Loewe was the “It Bag” for Spanish ladies in 1905!

During the “roaring twenties”, it was dainty bags for the women and vanity cases for the men that became highly sought after from Loewe. The brand even managed to survive the turmoil that is the Spanish civil war in the 1930s.

The 50s and beyond saw the retail expansion of Loewe across Spain, and other countries. In 1963, the brand reached London and in the 70s, cities further away like Hong Kong and Tokyo received the brand too.

Fast forward to modern times, Loewe brand, reaching a turning point in 1996 with its 150th-year anniversary, was taken up by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH), and has seen much success with a transition back to quality craftsmanship. What was born in the streets of Madrid 170 years ago continues to this day with Loewe’s master craftsmanship.

At we get you access to most sought after fashion items even when they are sold out, off the runway or on waiting list. Always stay on top with us!

The world's most complicated cocktail (really)... Bloody Mary.

The Bloody Mary is a proud mix of tomato juice, vodka or gin and a potential spice drawer's worth of ingredients, may be the most complex cocktail in the world - at least from a chemical standpoint.

It's a very complicated drink and covers almost the entire range of human taste sensations -- sweet, salty, sour and umami or savory -- but not bitter.

Remember, "chem is try" and, sometimes, you have to try (again and again and again). So come and try for yourself with

The most expensive... Easter egg by Faberge.

If there is an abiding symbol for the largesse, then it is the Fabergé egg. From 1885 right up to the start of the Russian Revolution, the St Petersburg jeweller Carl Fabergé made over 50 astonishingly intricate and opulent “Easter eggs” for the Romanovs russian royal family.

One of the eggs was later purchased at an auction by Rothschild, in 1902, as a wedding present. It’s a beguilingly extravagant piece, its calm, pink oval surface banded with seed pearls and stylised leaves. As the hour strikes, the top of the egg opens and from it emerges a cockerel, its plumage studded with tiny diamonds. It flaps its mechanical wings, then crows.

The egg did not leave the Rothschild family until 2007, when it sold at Christie’s for $18,573,940, the highest ever price for a timepiece. It resurfaced in Russia in 2014 and was donated to St Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum - an example of the long, full circles in which history sometimes travels.

Inspired by Faberge's intricate designs? Come and join us for a private tour at the State Hermitage museum in St Petersburg.

History of brand... Goyard.

Since Goyard's inception some 161 years ago, the trunk and bag-maker has maintained a mysterious and impressive reputation based on quality and prestige. With zero advertising, no e-commerce, and very few stockists, they've managed to protect their legacy while also building a buzz, simultaneously keeping their mouths shut—and everyone else out.

In today's retail landscape where companies are forced to rely on digital sales and social media engagement, Goyard shuns it all and still manages to hold its own against some of the most coveted brands in the world. Goyard's official policy is to not speak directly to the press. They also firmly believe in values such as exclusivity and discretion.

Starting in the mid-19th century, the family-owned business was renowned in Europe for its custom-made trunks, and its hand-painted Chevron patterns became instantly recognizable among the fashion set. The company now provides custom services, where apprenticed artists trained in France hand-paint initials or images onto bags for a hefty fee.

Goyard was actually purchased by the likes of Duke of Windsor and Coco Chanel and has been very popular throughout the years, but became a fashion must around 10 to 15 years ago. The brand was always considered a premier luxury brand. It is both technically and aesthetically remarkable—the appeal is classic ease.

With such limited merchandise it is hard to get yourself a Goyard bag. The brand's solely focused artisanal craftsmanship in one product category explains why there's never enough supply. concierge is at your service.

Jetset journal... St Barts.

St Barts is a perfectly sized, immaculate and hilly island in the Caribbean where there are no Barbados Versailles-like follies or Mustique Taj Mahals. It's French territory, so gendarmes walk the streets, the supermarkets sell french cuts of meat and the restaurants are better than in the South of France. Everyone takes a walk at six o'clock each evening in the main harbour to check out the super-yachts, have a cocktail in the square and people watch. The Hermès, Cartier, Dior and Louis Vuitton boutiques are always packed, but it's worth taking a look at the local shops for beautiful kaftans and beach inspired clutches.

The biggest attraction of St-Barts is extraordinary mix of people not shy to show their plumage, celebs and jetsets, rich and not so rich, beautiful and interesting looking, extravagant, creative but most of all excited and hungry for life.

History behind... Audemars Piguet.

In 1874, two young entrepreneurs Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet decided to go into business together. Little did they know their namesake brand would become one of the top companies in their industry known as Audemars Piguet.

When the Swiss watch idustry went through crisis in the 1970s and 80s, due to cheaper Asian quartz watches replacing high-end mechanical pieces, Audemars Piguet and other traditional watchmakers were struggling to stay relevant.

The brand knew they needed to do something bold. So, on the eve of the 1972 Swiss Watch Show (now known as Baselworld), the managing director of the company met with legendary designer Gerald Genta. He told Genta the brand’s aspirations of creating a whole new category of watch, the luxury sport watch, and they needed a design to present the following day. Genta was instantly inspired, and his genius went to work. The result was the iconic Royal Oak.

Get your hats at the ready.

Royal Ascot is synonymous with sartorial elegance. This is upheld by strict dress code, which invites guests to contribute to an occasion heralded as a major fashion event in its own right.

It was Beau Brummell, perhaps Britain’s first fashion icon, who at the turn of the 19th century dictated the dress code. His sense of style is still reflected in Royal Ascot fashions today as traditions are woven into the very fabric of it's history.

To help newcomers each year a new Royal Ascot style guide is issued. It continues to recognize key trends in the ever evolving world of fashion. For example in 2017 Ascot successfully welcomed the jumpsuit as an acceptable item of clothing for the Royal Enclosure.

Story behind... Hermes.

The history of the brand, now almost synonymous with elegance and class, started with equestrian theme in 1837. The first items produced were harnesses and briddles. After a short while, Thierry Hermès, became reknowned as a saddlery retailer of the finest quality. The predecessors of the bags we love so deeply today were used to feed horses … in style and to carry all the need accessories for riding. Basically making horses the first fans of Hermes.

The symbols of the brand we know today, such as Birkin, Kelly and Constance appeared much later. With the first handbag seeing the light only in 1922.
The embodiment of immaculate taste and fashion came to us from the stables. And today Hermes hasn’t abandoned its roots, offering a variety of chic equesterian equipment and inspired accessories.
