Her artist roster includes 'Partisans', Christine Tobin, Liam Noble solo piano project & Julian Siegel Big Band project. She also is the booking agent for the following 'Raestar Productions' artists: Rachael Cohen Quartet, Nia Lynn - The Bannau Trio, New Focus, New York Standards Quartet & Whirlwind's Mikkel Ploug Trio. Anne was brought up in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and has had a long, diverse
career in the BBC, where she gained considerable experience working in jazz and live music, working firstly at BBC Pebble Mill and then in BBC Birmingham at The Mailbox. Firstly, in regional television, in Radio 4 on The Archers, and then in Radios 2 & 3, working on various jazz programmes including Big Band Special, Jazz Notes, Humphrey Lyttleton’s Best of Jazz, BBC Jazz Awards and Jools Holland’s Adventures in Jazz. During this time she worked alongside some of the world’s leading jazz performers in studio recordings and at various leading UK and European Jazz Festivals and at live music events. Latterly Anne relocated to London where she worked for BBC Radio 2 Live Music programmes, Friday Night Is Music Night, Proms In The Park, working alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra, Mark Lamarr’s God’s Jukebox, Jools Holland, Bob Harris, Paul O’Grady and the Huey Morgan show. Anne joined Jazz Services in April 2012 as Touring, Recording and International Manager. She ran the National and Rural Touring Schemes along with the Recording Support and PRSF/Jazz Services Promoters schemes. On the International side, she ran the British Jazz Stand at Jazzahead in Bremen for 3 years and worked alongside ESIP, attended and represented Jazz Services at the Made in the UK series at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival in USA, and at Montreal and Ottawa International Jazz Festivals. She also represented Jazz Services at the European Jazz Network. During her time working on live music programmes at BBC Radio 2, Anne has gained considerable experience of organising and co-ordinating large-scale music productions and tours. She set up a series of European gigs with the BBC Big Band with Ray Charles and his rhythm section, a joint tour of Germany with the BBC and the RIAS Big Bands and co-ordinated a major multi-media production for BBC 2 Music Live at The Waterfront Hall in Belfast with George Benson, his band, Joe Sample, the BBC Big Band, and musicians from The Ulster Orchestra, where a DVD was simultaneously recorded for the PBS network in the USA. She was the BBC co-ordinator for the Birmingham Town Hall re-opening concert, ‘Soulful Messiah’, working closely with joint producers Serious. This event involved a line-up of local and national musicians, including soloists, Cleveland Watkiss, Ruby Turner, Soweto Kinch, Black Voices, BBC Big Band, the Reggae Philharmonic, and the cream of local gospel music. She was one half, along with her producer, of the team who organised BBC Proms In The Park for three years, working alongside Dame Kiri Te Kanawa; Jose Carerras; Barry Manilow; Neil Sedaka; Brian May; Katherine Jenkins; Russell Watson and Westlife. Anne also stage managed the above events and regular BBC Radio 2 live music concerts and events including Radio 2 Live at The Lights in Blackpool with Boyzone, Radio 2 Live in London from the O2 arena with Adele, Duffy and James Morrison, concerts including Take That, Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs Live from Elland Road, Neil Diamond, Sir Tom Jones and BBC Electric Proms with Burt Bacharach and Jamie Cullum. Big Band Special concerts with guests including Dame Cleo Laine; George Shearing; Monty Alexander; Natalie Cole; Jane Monheit; Joe Levano; Abdullah Ibrahim; Billy Cobham; Dee Dee Bridgewater; Louie Bellson; Van Morrison; Patti Austin; Dr John and Lalo Schiffrin.
