We are pleased to announce the enhancement of our theatrical and home entertainment capabilities in Spain! In collaboration with Dolby, our Madrid studio now features the latest standards in Dolby Atmos Theatrical and Home Entertainment technology. Additionally, our Barcelona facility boasts a brand-new, state-of-the-art Atmos Home Entertainment mixing room.

Our COO, Cornelia Al-Khaled, shared, "As part of VSI's strategy to focus on the high-end episodic and theatrical markets, we are proud to expand our Dolby Atmos services to another VSI territory. We continue to invest in technologies that enhance the viewers' entertainment experience and engagement. Immersive audio, like Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment, is appropriate for the best content out there and is one of the capabilities that we are keen to provide to our customers whenever they want to give the viewers a different, captivating experience of being drawn into the space and being part of the action, whatever the media."

Dementia Action Week (13 - 19 May) is an annual event that raises awareness about dementia and encourages people to take action and support those affected by the condition.

This year, we were proud to partner with the inspiring team at Rare Dementia Support on their new RDS Translation project, providing the translation and subtitles for their support materials into 9 languages.

The project aims to provide access to information and guided support for those diagnosed with, at risk of, or supporting someone with a rare dementia.

We are pleased to announce two new members of our executive team: Chris Rego, Chief Financial Officer, and Carmen Cerdan, who has joined the newly formed role of Chief Human Resources Officer.

Our CEO Mark Howorth shared, "As VSI continues to grow in scale, service offerings and geographies, our financial needs and processes are becoming more complex. Chris brings the right mix of skills to bolster our agile, global financial process and evolve our strategy. I am delighted that Carmen will be leading the evolution of our culture. As someone who led the HR function at a much larger, high-growth company, she brings her significant experience to VSI as we go through a similar trajectory."

Monica Bielenstein has been her “German voice” for over 30 years. She took this opportunity to share more about the dubbing industry, what she admires about Emma Thompson and to wish Emma Thompson all the best for her 65th birthday earlier this week.
