We've been surprised once again by our guests gestures. Every year for the last three years we've hosted a couple of Elderly sisters, who arrive and leave by taxi as neither of them drive. They normally have a day out during the week but this year we simply couldn't get a taxi organised for them so Shirley took them out for the day and it made their week. They left us a Thank You card and a box of Belgian chocolates and very naughtily, £80 for us to have a meal on them. We are touched by such generosity.
As soon as they get home tonight, they will book again for next year as they always do. We do what we do for our guests because that's what we want to do, not for financial reward so we've decided on next years visit, we will take both of them out for a meal.

We said goodbye to Lynne & Mark today following their fourth visit. As always, their "thank you" gesture is much appreciated. Fantastic guests who have become close friends. We look forward to seeing you guys again next year. Safe journey x

Current guest Andy is enjoying his fishing. He's had a few tench and I think 5 carp, topped off with these 2 commons at 19lb and 20lb 5oz

Our current guests Andy & Tracy are here for a fortnight and fishing. Andy opened his account with a Tench although not his chosen quarry. He opened his carp account this morning with this hard fighting 15lb 12oz Common....first of many hopefully
