The night sky came out to play again last night with a display of the Northern Lights ✨️

Our friends at Astro Dog were at Dalby Forest to capture it during one of their brilliant star gazing events.

We are very fortunate to be within a Dark Skies Reserve so the magic of the night sky is never too far away now that we are enjoying dark nights again 🌟

'Amazing weekend

Amazing time at this beautiful place stumbled across it while searching for a weekend away online and so glad I did...dog friendly too! Beds were really comfy play station for the kids, fully equipped kitchen plus the luxury of the hot tub...booked again for new year and I'm sure that won't be the last visit."

Previously named Britain's Most Scenic Bus Route in a national poll, the Coastliner 840 bus takes you through the dramatic scenery of North York Moors National Park, with far-reaching views of rolling hills and moors, which are carpeted with heather in the summer months. For the best views, head upstairs to the top deck as you make your way to the stunning coastal town of Whitby.

Next time you visit Scarborough, why not escape the crowds and explore South Cliff Gardens.

They recently received a multi million pound regeneration and it not only offers wonderful views across the South Bay but beautiful gardens including the Italian Gardens and the Victorian Rose Garden.

Families will discover the play area, with its slides, assault course and even a little sandpit.

If you venture down to the Spa and dread the walk back up then you can climb via the historic Cliff Lift which has been in operation since 1875, making it one of the oldest in Britain.

"Family celebration

This was my first time staying at High Oaks. We booked The Grange for a special family celebration along with Farndale Cottage and a glamping pod.
I can honestly say it was beautiful and I was so sad when it was time to come home.
Each accommodation was gorgeous and had absolutely everything we needed for our group of different ages and our dogs.
Already looking at booking again. Thank you for making our family celebration so special."

Our Contemporary Lodges can be the perfect place for celebrations and Sarah-Jane shared her recent Birthday stay 💚

"Best lodge i’ve stayed in!

Me and 5 of my friends stayed here and i couldn’t recommend it more! 10000/10 it came with everything you could possibly need, plus a bottle of milk and some complimentary goodies. The hot tub was a good size and the bbq too. It was so cosy inside and was surprised to see how big it was inside. The room with the bunk beds came with some really cute window covers which I thought was a lovely touch and haven’t seen that before. Was quiet and peaceful at night.

Support between ourselves and the owner was fast and any questions was left answered. The area was really ideal with it being near scarborough and near multiple shops. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again soon :)"
