Last bit of horsey spam for a few weeks, as the Granary is now booked with some of our lovely non horsey regulars, until September. Julie and Trish had a last lovely ride and unfortunately for us it will be Patches last time staying with us, at the ripe old age of 27, he's going to be taking life a little easier, but looking forward to meeting Julie's new horse who she will be bringing to stay with us next year😁🐴

Another lovely hack today for the ladies, with a hack up to lockton and a second stop at lockton tearooms, cakes highly recommended 😁 then onto levisham, where they encountered something no one had ever encountered before riding from here!!! It was the annual nudist convention on levisham moor, yes apparently annual! 🀣 Nice weather for them today🀣 The ladies then continued on their hack and headed home, for wine, sunbathing and horses chilling. Some pictures of them setting off this morning, none of the nudist convention 🀣🀣

Lovely been able to welcome some new guests to the Granary this week, all the way from Liverpool. Hannah, Sophie, Kayleigh and Anne and of course their 4 beautiful horses. Keep missing them when they head out for their hacks, but today happened to be in the kitchen, so took a sneaky video, as they set off for their pub ride today up to Levisham, making the most of this glorious weather we are having!

Then time for Lisa and Emma to head off to the pub again 🀣 whilst horses chill 😍

Finally managed to catch Lisa and Emma on horseback! Although they've ridden everyday on a variety of bridleways including over the moors for a pint and a sandwich πŸ˜„ I kept missing them, today I caught them returning from an early ride due to the glorious weather, they've been lucky to have they set off earlier for a lovely forestry ride. Lovely to see them and their horses back at the Granary as always!

Lovely to have Sarah and Sally returning for their horsey holiday. Been regulars staying at the Granary for many years, and it's lovely to meet Sarah's new horse Finn, along with the gorgeous Secret, who along with her owner Sally has been coming many years 😍 Second day into their weeks stay, they were up bright and early today, perfect hacking weather and caught them on their return for photo session. 😍

Well we have said goodbye to the last of our guests staying at the Granary with horses for 2023. It was lovely to have our regular visitors Becky, Julie, Alison and Evie staying along with their lovely horses. Despite the weather been abit dodgy at times they managed to get a good ride in each day. And amazingly actually met someone on the forest road (very rarely see anybody) to take this lovely photo of them all.
The Granary is still busy with walkers, cyclists and a few regulars coming for their autumn/winter break in the Granary. But due to fields rested for the winter and stables and limited grazing needed for my livery horses the 2023 horseriding season has finished. Its been a busy one with lots of return guests which is lovely and some new ones, which will become return guests because every group of new horse and riders have already booked for next year! Which is great news🀩🐴.
So we shall hopefully see the majority/ if not all! of our horseriding guests again in 2024, if you've not already booked and want to come again it's filling up fast! And we would love to welcome you all backπŸ΄πŸ˜ƒ

Lovely to have one of my very frequent guests staying in the Granary this week. Bev with her gorgeous horse Zoe and joining them this time is Mark Bevs husband.Luckily along with his bike! They are certainly putting in the miles as they are doing the bhsrideathalonchallenge for July to help maintain the bridleways and they are definitely dedicated to the challenge as the weather hasn't been kind to them at times! But always come back with a smile! Well done Bev. Mark and Zoe! Keep going still a few more miles to clock up till the end of your stay πŸ˜ƒπŸŽπŸš²https://www.justgiving.com/page/bev-corrigan-1687951673379?utm_campaign=lc_frp_share_transaction_transactional_--_page_launched_--_campaign&utm_content=2048c60e-23a5-467a-99be-9fa886c71352&utm_medium=email&utm_source=postoffice&utm_term=1687952649557

It was lovely to have Julie and Trish return for their horsey holiday last week with their lovely horses Patch and Roxy. Despite the heavy showers they were very lucky and didn't get wet once when out hacking and Trish managed to even slot in a lesson with myself to which Roxy excelled herself. For Patch it is unfortunate for us we won't see him again as his holiday was his last bit of adventure before he returns home to be happily retired. What better way to finish his long ridden career out exploring our lovely bridleways. But we are already looking forward to the return of Roxy next year along with Trish and Julie with her new riding horse which she is collecting this week 😍

So over the last couple of weeks it was lovely to see some return guests who didn't bring horses but spent their weeks holiday walking sight seeing and enjoying the glorious weather always love welcoming guests back to the Granary 😍 This weekend we have welcomed some familiar faces and horses with the return of Lisa and Emma and their gorgeous horses Baz and Tallulah. Weather has been great and the horses are having a well deserved rest after their hacking although looking at the picture I think Baz has just spotted their owners walking down the drive in the direction of the local pub for know doubt gin🀣 and its going to be a great night as they have a band playing tonight.Think Baz and Tallulah are thankful they've been left behind to feast on the grassπŸ˜ƒ

Well. Last week saw the last of the guests coming with their horses on holiday for 2022 and it was lovely to welcome back some familiar guests Leigh and Tia. Along with their horses. Dog and partners Tom and Joe. The Granary is still busy with alot of regulars coming to stay over the next few weeks which we are looking forward to along with us welcoming some new guests. But with winter around the corner there is no more availability for horses for 2022 the grazing is resting for next years guests and stables will shortly be full of all my livery horses. So to all of you who came to stay this year and there were alot πŸ˜ƒ Thank you. It was lovely to see all my regulars and meet all the new guests who I know alot will be returning because there already booked in 🀣 and on that note if you fancy a stay with or without your horse next year at the Granary please get in touch sooner rather than later the diary fills up fast and we would love to welcome you πŸ˜ƒ
