For couples and other visitors there are outstanding areas for walking or simply sightseeing. Elsewhere on the Island there are numerous attractions and events which are held throughout the year. A few examples of the events: Isle of Wight Walking Festival, Isle of Wight (Music) Festival, Festival of the Sea, Cowes Week, Isle of Wight Scooter Rally and many others. Osbourne House (Queen Victoria’s Isle of Wight residence) regularly provides the stunning backdrop for a host of outdoor concerts and the Steam Railway at Havenstreet is the venue for the Island’s lively mid-summer jazz event.
