For the last few years we have patiently been watching the building of Ad Gefrin and today we were lucky enough to be invited for a sneak peak before the opening on Saturday. It was definitely worth the wait. From the outside the building looks amazing but the inside is just as great, we sat in the museum and I had to admit it was hard to believe we were sitting in Wooler. I have been to many Scottish Distillery’s and Ad Gefrin is just as good if not better.
We would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Northumberland, we still have short break availability this spring if you fancy a meal at the bistro and a small tipple.
