So im having some pretty rough surgery on my right wrist in 12 days - Im right handed and obviously a full time wheelchair user.

Im looking to borrow a Triride or Batek for 2/4 weeks, to Borrow if anyone has a spare or one that's a little slow etc - I just wont be able to use my manual wheelchair at all for a fair time.

Im going to be in full plaster which is going to be an absolute nightmare but i need this surgery and have done since my wrist fusion surgery failed 5 years ago.

If anyone has any suggestions please call or text me im happy to pay rental for the triride or batek..

We are getting the courses for this year at Back Up ready and getting our people who want to attend places.

We send people from Under 13 all the way to people affected by SCI into their 70s and upwards. We send them either to a Multi-Activity course in either Exmoor or the Lake District, or City Skills in Bath or Edinburgh, and of course, our amazing Skills for Independence which is held in Leeds City Centre. We also have our Legacy courses which are the Ski Kart Sweden in (ARE) northern Sweden, and we are about to send a group of 15 to Winter Park Colorado for the Sit Ski Colorado course... We also have a fully online Digital course for those injured within the last 3 years which is called (What's Next) which is being held on 28th-29th February.

Less than 2 weeks to go before our 10km Push/Walk race with RunThrough.co.uk around Goodwood Motor Circuit on 5th December and I will be doing this crazy winter sponsored race with my amazing friend and colleague Dee. We will be racing well we will be doing our 10km Push/Walk in aid of TheWorthing Hub.. All monies raised will go directly towards our work within the community supporting those who are affected by H I V.

Even a pound will help us supporting others.

This year we lost the services of "THT & Metro Charity" within West Sussex and so although we have been running nearly 4 years we found that people were panicking that there would be no Social and Support Services within West Sussex. We never stopped even through the Pandemic and we self fund all the work we do.

We currently run meetings weekly, either face 2 face or virtually via Zoom. We also go to people's houses to support them with appointments, Benefit advice, housing issues and even some hospital appointment support. Some of these people have social anxiety due to Stigma they may have faced during their lives after the diagnosis of being positive.

During the pandemic both of us delivered food out to the community which was amazingly donated Gary and the amazing team at Lunch Positive Lunch Positive Lunch Club and we are so pleased to have their support helping our clients in West Sussex during that time and going forward.

Please help us support others by even donating a pound that will go towards supporting people that are in our/Your community. As I previously mentioned "Stigma" is still a massive thing that positive people face sometimes daily and this needs to stop.

Being Less or (Dis)abled normally means paying well over the odds for travel that everyone else is paying...

I use a wheelchair due to my Spinal Cord Injury, Plus I'm Immino Compromised, So I get it..

I have requested quotes from disabled specialist travel agents for 7 years now and they are always 20% above "Normal" what ever normal is! But those other retailers.. Why?.. to request a extra legroom if you have medical need costs nothing more with most airlines... pre board and airport assist costs nothing to the passenger.

So why Book through me?.. I have insight into airlines as I was Cabin Crew for years.. I have worked in the Travel Industry as Sales and Travel Concierge at Amex Centurion Travel... and after my spinal injury nearly 7 years ago, well I've been wanting to do this for years and years and years even whilst I was at amex.
