Grey Wolf Enterprises recently returned to the Pankisi Gorge (a little snow and ice on the way), situated on the banks of the Alazani River, to provide training and certification to 23 nursing students from the Kakheti Regional Development Foundation. The training encompassed CPR, AED, and First Aid and was conducted in Duisi, which is a village in Akhmeta Municipality located 125 km away from Tbilisi. To get there, we had to go through the Gombori Pass, which peaks at 1620 meters above sea level.

The Grey Wolf Enterprises Academy presented a 6-hour Latent Fingerprint workshop in Tbilisi this week. The workshop aimed to give young students career aspirations by showing them that they have the skills and abilities to work in the varied fields of criminal investigation, the law, and the forensic sciences. We hope this course sparked an interest in this field of study. All had a wonderful time!

🇬🇪 In Georgia, April 9 is a day off and is celebrated as the Day of National Unity, Civil Accord and Memory of those who died for their homeland.

On this day, the country remembers the people who became victims of the brutal dispersal of a peaceful rally in Tbilisi on April 9, 1989 by Soviet troops.
Special forces of the USSR attacked demonstrators who spoke for independence on Rustaveli Avenue. On the streets and from the consequences of exposure to gas, 21 protesters died, most of them women.

From that moment began the process of consolidation of Georgian society around the idea of national independence and the restoration of Georgian statehood.

❗️Later, on April 9, 1991, the Supreme Council announced the restoration of the state independence of Georgia.
This day is inscribed in the modern history of the country as a day of tragedy and at the same time the day of the restoration of independence.
