Welcome to Nahal Qana!
In the Heart of the Samaria region we can find Nahal Qana!
Nahal Qana begins in a valley, south of the city of Nablus near the Arab town of Aqraba, and is one of the largest tributaries to the Yarkon and it spills into it near Hod Hasharon. Unfortunately the stream over there is polluted there due to sewage water.
During the biblical times, Nahal Qana was the border between the estates of the tribe of Ephraim and Menashe, sons of Joseph. and we can notice it today by the name of the settlements north of the wadi (Alfei Menashe) and south of it Yakir and Revava (by quotes from the bible).
The trail length is 5 km, and its back and forth only. The trail is full of springs and gardens, and many typical trees to the mediterranean region like elms and oaks and a lot of natural orchards, and even ancient ruins from the past.
It is such a wonderful trail, unknown for many tourists but it's definitely worth the visit!
