Awesome seminar last weekend in Paris with Ming Yue, who came from the Wudang mountains to share his knowledge and practice of the Taoist martial arts from Wudang with us. Here, the Wudang sword.

We will meet him again this summer at our summer camp, where he will teach us Sword, Taiji Quan, Tuishou (Push-hands) and meditation from Wudang (http://www.nofodra.com/2023/11/19/sommerleir-2024/?lang=en). So much looking forward to it!

Hi everyone,

We are extremely happy to announce that registration for our next Summer Camp in July 2024), in South of France is now open. This year, we will have Master Ming Yue (from the Wudang mountains) with us, and he will share his teachings in meditation, Taiji Quan, sword and Xing Yi Quan. As every year, we will also offer an energizing waking up every morning, as well as two classes for kids each day of practice . The objective of these summer camps is to combine the practice of Chinese martial arts with a relaxing vacation in a magnificent region, with family or friends, whatever our level of practice (beginner or advanced).

There will be no class on Tuesday this week (04/10) due to autumn holidays. All classes on Thursday (06/10) are open as usual. Students usually attending Taiji Quan on Tuesdays are welcome to join the Qi Gong class on Thursday if they wish (starts at 19:15).

Dear all,

Anker "gymsal" is closed this week and next week for renovation of the building so we can't train here. Therefore, we will have all our classes these two weeks at OsloMet.

The schedule remains the same, but all students should arrive in front of the building (P50) 5 minutes before the class so we can all move inside together. You will not be able to enter the building and find the room alone, so try to be on time.

If you're willing to join but did not get the info regarding the exact location and how to get there, just send us a mail or a message and we will send it to you! (already sent to all NOFØDRA members).

Hi everyone,

On Tuesday, February 1st, we entered in the Chinese Year of the Water Tiger. The tiger is a powerful, fearless, and majestic predator. In addition to being ferocious when it attacks, the tiger is a master of calmness and patience who doesn't waste its energy when not necessary. It knows how to be silent, quiet and almost invisible in order not to frighten its prey. But when it's time to catch it, the tiger gives it everything it has, letting almost no chance to its meal to escape. Maybe this is something we can learn from the tiger: not to be unnecessarily excited and keep our energy intact for the moment we really need it and when that time comes, focus it all to make sure that we reach our objective. If, on top of that, we add the properties of the water that always finds ways to continue its journey by bypassing obstacles without stopping, one could get one step closer to become invulnerable!

Hi everyone!

The summer break is almost finished for NOFØDRA and it is time to start training together again. All our classes will re-open next week (from Tuesday, August 17th) and we're looking forward to seeing you.

We will post more information regarding the different classes later when we get an answer from Anker regarding the possibility to open new classes. Meanwhile, you can have a look et the first video made after our recent great Summer camp in Ardèche (France). More will come!

Hi everyone,

Summer is getting closer, and so does our 4th summer camp! This year, we will be in Ardèche, in center-south of France from the 10th to the 17th of July :) The program includes Wudang martial arts (Taiji Quan and sword), Hun Yuan Gong Qi Gong, Taiji Meihua Tanglang Quan, Nunchaku and Tui Shou (pushing hands). And for the kids, we will also have Kung Fu staff :) As usual, the day will start with meditation and body toning.

There will be 4 experienced instructors, each of them being the main instructor in one of the four largest Chinese martial arts associations of the EPHEDRA School. And believe it or not, they speak English! We can even speak Norwegian with the kids if needed ;)

Hi everyone :)

Here we go! Our 4th summercamp is open now for registration!

This year, we will be in Ardèche, a fantastic hilly and sun-kissed region from South-central France :) The program? Awesome, as usual ;) Kids will have two classes in the morning and the adult program will include Wudang sword, Nunchaku, Qi Gong, Taiji Quan, Praying Mantis.

I'll be there! And I'm really looking forward to it!
