Ama dablam is one of the highest mountains in Nepal. The mountain stands 6170m from the sea level. The mountain is located at the center of the khumbu region at the eastern Nepal. Ama dablam translates to mothers’ necklace in English language. The long range of the mountain resemble a mother’s arm protecting her children. The long mountain range and the white glacier are thought as the dablam. Dablam are the type of bead necklace worn by the Sherpa women.
