If you ever fancy Hiking in Chitwan then this is the place for you. Its part of the buffer zone so you need to be careful but this track is one that runs along the river to the river to the tourist village of Sauraha. You got to be a little careful using it because you dont know what you could meet along the way as its next to the national park.

There are lots of places in Nepal even near to the Terai region lapped with hills. Its on the route of Chepang Village Trail in Chitwan which is one of the favourite place to hike and stays with some spectacular views of hills area along with bird watching site and flora and fauna with marvelous view of sunrise from the altitude of 1946m height.

Please when you are out on the trails always give way to the local women especially carrying these baskets. Its hard work for them and having personally tried to carry one uphill its not something i would want to do everyday. Respect to all of the Nepali who do this.

This use to be a common sight all over Nepal but now thanks to government its not allowed.. Having travelled like this from Chitwan to Kathmandu i have to say its a great way to see the countryside but a little dangerous.
