that makes hiking in Nepal a pleasurable experience,
Teahouses are small lodges across a long trail; teahouses give you places to rest, snacks to fill you with energy, and fellow travelers to discuss your explorations and admirations across your journey. While teahouse hiking, you get to spend your night here and have the locally offered food. Most teahouses are simple yet comfortable and promote a culture of shared living. As these are shared accommodations, going for these does not become a whole in your pocket. These teahouses situated across most of the hikes make Nepal a sought out tourist destination; some of the famous hikes with amazing teahouses include Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Langtang Valley, and P**n Hill among others.
Some popular hikes
Nepal is a Paradise when it comes to Himalayan hiking. Here are some hikes that will let you explore the paradise to its fullest
Annapurna Circuit – Uniquely located, this hike lets you enjoy different climates through a single trail. It is equipped with multiple teahouses, has a lower elevation, and is a beginner-friendly hike. You don’t need to carry heavy baggage as teahouses here there quite comfortable and provide all basic amenities. On the trail, you will have sights varying from rice terraces to forest and alpine regions at your behest. You will also be able to have beautiful views of the Annapurna South.
Best seasons to go hiking in Nepal
Autumn (October – November): This the most comfortable and popular season for hiking in Nepal. It is a clear season with mild temperatures, pleasant winds, lush greenery, and sunny skies. This is the peak season and most crowded, you will find most camps and trails overcrowded. However, if you are willing to meet people around the world and some fellow travelers for your next hikes, this season is for you.
Spring (March – April): Though this is also a pleasant season, it is not as popular as autumn. This season is less clear, though high altitudes are clearer and the Himalayas are better visible there. You can enjoy wildlife, giant rhododendron trees, and melting glaciers if you plan your trip around this time.
Off-peak season: Off-peak season includes the monsoon and the winter. Due to extreme weather conditions that lead to slippery terrain, extremely cold winds, low oxygen, and high-pressure conditions in higher elevations, this time is less preferred. On a different note, casual visitors or newbies rarely tour Nepal in this season, so the honed travelers and hikers can make the most of it and enjoy solitude and peace.
With so much to offer in a plate, great opportunities to mingle with a great community of travelers, almost year-round running attractions, and the sweetness of a mellow sun and light breeze, this paradise on earth is bound to excite you and make you want to be there.
