New Home entry ceremony is one of the important auspicious event in Hindu culture, in Nepal. it is called as Griha Pravesh Puja. Hindus perform Gruhapravesham to join in a new house. It is also known as a Housewarming ceremony. By choosing auspicious dates and muhurat housewarming ceremony is performed. An auspicious day is determined by the astrologer charts, on that day family moves into the new house. Without performing the Griha Pravesh puja a residence must not occupy or move things into a home. The housewarming ceremony is a prayer ritual of gratitude. When constructing a new house Vastu Shastra is very important and should perform Vastu Shanti Puja after entering a new house to remove doshas. Even house is made as per Vastu principles, Vastu Shastra says that all residence spaces are alive with hidden entities, prayers are required to purify the space from negativity and permit the flow of positive energy into the house. In Hinduism, the house warming ceremony is regarded second in importance only to the marriage ceremony. During Gruhapravesh, Homam can be performed to invite Gods and Goddesses.

Rice plantation ceremony is one of the major festival celebrated by the farmers. This ceremony is being carried out from ages. Farmers still use traditional tools and tech for plantation. Every year it is carried out around mid June till mid July. Whereas the main celebration day of this ceremony falls on !5th Ashad which falls on the end days of June.
This is not just an ceremony but also the livelihood of the farmer community. Every year this event is repeated to feed themselves and also to supply and feed the whole depending community.
This video represents the whole process of rice plantation in very brief and cinematic manner. Here it shows how every aspect of plantation is carried out from scratch by the help of traditional tools. Tools used in ths video are Haalo(Traditional Plough), Juwa, Shaa, Kodali etc. Unlike modern farming the plough is pulled by the help of Bull on the terreace lands on the hills. this video is captured in one of the remote village of Dhading district of Nepal.
