Josh Truscott has been driving for Broadbridge Transport Limited since 2003, now happy to be behind the wheel of their new Globetrotter FH16 and is responsible for its immaculate appearance.

He has grown up with trucks and recalls spending hours in the passenger seat alongside his dad, including in Broadbridge’s first Volvo FH12, which joined the fleet in 1994.

Volvo among the vines - New Zealand Trucking magazine named Broadbridge Transport Limited’s new Volvo FH16 750 as Top Truck for April 2023 and wrote this great article about the company that has clocked up 75 years servicing rural Marlborough. This FH16 is the 20th Volvo for Broadbridge since they bought their first one in 1990, and they haven’t looked back since. It’s the fourth Volvo in the current Broadbridge fleet and was chosen for its power. Like much of the upper South Island, every route in Marlborough involves a hill, which ensures the 575kW (750hp) produced by the big D16C power plant are well-utilised.

Celebrating 75 years with a 750 Volvo!
This Volvo FH16 750 Globetrotter suits Broadbridge Transport Limited to a tee. Fitted with Jackson Enterprises deck and trailer and Delta Stock Crates Feilding, it’s operated out of Renwick, Blenheim with driver Josh behind the wheel.
