Ramans Sacred Soul India retreat is underway! The tour has begun in Rishikesh, at the foothills of the Himalayas surrounded by the strong, sacred energy of Lord Shiva. Raman has guided and shared the deep significance of the sites visited like the Temple of Lord Shiva, Neelkanth Mahadev, where he came to cleanse with a fire that has continued to burn for over 25,000 years.

With breaths of air that is felt as joyful and light, this retreat has begun immensely self-settling and healing.

The application of henna dates back through documentation in its use over 9000 years ago, generally in arid climates, from India, Pakistan, Africa and the Middle East.

Henna contains natural cooling properties. So a paste from the crushed leaves of the henna plant would be made to then be soaked on the palms and soles of feet. ✋🦶
The cooling effect would remain for as long as the stain would linger. It also was found as an effective sun block. Naturally, this lead to applying the henna in decorative ways, popular among both the upper and lower classes as even those who could not afford jewelery, could use henna to decorate their bodies just the same as the likes of Queen Cleopatra.

A Transformational Royal Enfield Tour, Day THIRTEEN:

7 MARCH: BIJAIPUR – JAIPUR [325 km]

After breakfast we'll ride back to Jaipur.
There we'll visit the Old City and bazar. On this day today people will be celebrating the burning of Holika [the evil] on the eve of Holi festival in India.

Holi celebrations begin with a ritual of Holika Dahan. This is where people gather in the neighbourhood to burn a bonfire and celebrate the triumph of good over evil. Holika Dahan is meant to burn out all the negativity and do a fresh start. Let’s burn the ostentatious ego and selfishness in the fire of Holika Dahan to make the world a better place to live.

Return to hotel for overnight stay in Jaipur.

This will be an unforgettable experience on this 15 day Royal Enfield tour! Spaces are still available for next year!

Visit Udaipur for its gorgeous green surroundings and royal city filled with palaces, lakes and gardens.
The jewel of Udaipur is arguably the Monsoon Palace, a 360 view from the palace offers a stunning sunset view over the lakes, city and surrounding green countryside 😍

Built in 1884 as an astronomical centre before its conversion to a hunting lodge. The Monsoon Palace was a place where the royals could rest and watch the movement of the monsoon clouds over the Aravalli range.

We'll be spending plenty of time in Udaipur for a visit to the Monsoon palace on our Transformational Royal Enfield Tour next February 2023! Contact us for details 🙏
