Two cruise inspections in one week!! And Christchurch certainly turned on the weather for the passengers!

NCL - Norwegian Cruise Line ‘Spirit’ was docked in Lyttleton yesterday and I had the opportunity for a hosted inspection and a 3 course lunch in one of their beautiful dining restaurants - with stunning views!

The 2025/26 season is selling now! And 30% of their itineraries are already full! Pays to book ahead!

Asia, Hawaii, Australia, Europe to name a few.

It’s a great way to travel and a holiday to share with friends and family or groups celebrating that special occasion! Or even on your own for a solo adventure with specific solo cabins available (without the added expense of single supplements!)

The layout and design of the Spirit was very carefully considered with modern contemporary design (as you’ll see from some images here) - wide deck spaces and hallways, several speciality and casual dining spaces and restaurants, social cafes and boutique shops, entertainment venue for comedy and shows, a casino, spa and 2 pool areas. From the 14th of February onwards Bali will be introducing an International Tourism Levy.

The amount is 150,000 IDR per person which is currently just over $15 NZD. Although it can be paid on arrival, it is recommended to complete payment online before departure to make your arrival process easier.

As 2023 comes to a close I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and referrals through the year. I’ve now returned to working as a travel advisor full time (post pandemic!!) and I’m thrilled to be back doing what I love!

Snack attack onboard Air NZ! Their updated snack menu below 👏🏻 😋

We all know of course the most important thing when flying is what treats are onboard, so we thought we should share that Air New Zealand has revealed its newest snack selection. 🤤

Chocolate-dipped pretzels and almonds, tangy lemon meringue-coated popcorn, and the ever-classic salt & vinegar chips will be taking flight over the next few months.

There are 14 new snacks, but don't worry, the beloved CookieTime Cookie isn't going anywhere.

Manaakitanga- better together!

What a weekend!! It’s been 4 years since we’ve been able to gather together for our annual NZ Travel Brokers Conference due to travel restrictions and that P (pandemic) word! So it’s been long overdue to reconnect, spend time learning, catch-up with old and new friends, share a day with suppliers (30 of them in fact - it was like speed dating travel styles!! 😄) and celebrate together our successes, our resilience, our strength and our courage! We honoured one of our friends and directors Steve Lee who sadly passed away a few months ago / it wasn’t quite the same with out him there however as a travel family we are strong and brave and have done him as well as Guy and the support team, proud!! 🥹

Our guest speakers - Matty Lovell and Cam Hayes from Tourism NZ were incredibly inspiring and our MC - Lisa O'Neill - brought the house down with her humour at our Gala Event! The Great Hall in Christchurch, the Arts Centre, the Town Hall and Te Pae Convention Centre were next level grand!!

I feel blessed to be part of such an amazing Brokering community and family and cannot wait to share with you what I’ve learnt and how I can help you with your travel and adventure plans - we have decades of experience and knowledge between us with a passion for what we do like no other!!
