Brooker Travel Group Welcomes Simon McKearney as Director of Operations and Growth

Dunedin, 29 February 24 — The Brooker Travel Group proudly announces the appointment of Simon McKearney as the Director of Operations and Growth. With the evolution of Brooker Travel into the independent sector and the revitalisation of its brand, Simon's extensive industry expertise comes as a valuable addition to the team, particularly in managing operations and fostering growth.

Simon brings a wealth of experience to his new role, where he will spearhead the expansion of Brooker's network while ensuring seamless integration across all customer touchpoints, both offline and online. He will also continue in his capacity as the Chief Executive of Travel Lab, leading the various divisions that have been created over the last 3 years whilst looking for synergies between the businesses.

In welcoming Simon, Andrew Carmody, Managing Director at Brooker Travel Group, remarked, "Simon's arrival marks a pivotal moment for us. His expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow and innovate in the travel industry. It has certainly been another challenging year, but we are all super optimistic that 2022 will see the world reopen – or should that be New Zealand joining the rest of the world in reopening.
With a big year on the horizon and none of the Brooker Staff having had an extended break for over 18 months we had made the decision to close all offices.
