Air travelers exempted from curfew restrictions
Entebbe Deputy Resident District Commissioner Njuki Mbabali says that incoming and outgoing passengers will be exempted from night curfew restrictions if their flights fall within the curfew hours. Uganda maintains a nighttime curfew running from 9 pm to 5:30 a. m, as one of the measures taken by the government to control movement and person to person interactions

It is just 6 days to the reopening of Entebbe International airport. On Thursday 1st October, 2020 international commercial passenger flights will resume after a 6-month lockdown as a consequence of the Covid- 19 pandemic. The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has so far cleared over 10 airlines to resume next week when the airport re-opens, Qatar Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Uganda Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Tanzania, Rwanda Air, Fly Dubai, Ethiopian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Tarco Aviation will kiss the Ugandan skies next week.
