Imbalu circumcision season to attract 200,000 visitors.
The imbalu season of initiating boys into men is expected to attract 200,000 guests throughout the year. The inaugural ceremony will take place at Mtoto hill on August 23 is expected to attract Bamasaba people from both Kenya and Uganda in addition to tourists. Huts have been constructed for each clan at the site as well as guides have been deployed to make guests enjoy the event. Imbalu is a culture that is more than 2000years old. The Beautiful Great Blue Turaco
The Great blue turaco is regarded as the most beautiful bird in Africa. The shy and clumsy bird has a yellow bill with red tip as if its wearing lipstick. The head is topped by a blue and black crest. Plumage on the head, back and wings is greenish blue. The chest and tail is yellow. Red plumage above the feet. This clumsy bird spends most of its time high in the canopy hopping from branch to branch. Wildlife card rolled out in more parks.
Tourists visiting Uganda's wildlife will now need smart cards to access national parks including game activities.
