Laurel Creek Mountain Retreat

Our time here is finished. We will take with us every single precious moment from this beautiful place, carry them like treasures along with the lessons we learned having a home 21 years in the mountains. There has been much laughter and so much fun through the years, but also lots of hard work and some tears at this mountain home. The library my Dad and I built together. The clearing to the creek was a dream come true! The morning we first saw snow here and ran outside.❄️Our vegetable garden. Shooting at cans off the front porch. The roses. The kids pulling weeds and mulching. Turning our home into a vacation rental.🏡 My mother at age 90 visiting this year!

So thankful for those who visited us here and guests who made memories here. Now we are off to new adventures forever carrying with us the memories in this home. ❤️

Gorgeous farm views in the valley and yes, a winding road to get to that mountain top! 💛Roll down those windows, pass a couple deer on the ride up where it’s always 5 degrees cooler and it never floods. Our piece of paradise for 21 years.🏡 Our beautiful mountain home on five acres.

It’s with thankful hearts we want to share some news with you. We have made the difficult decision to stop all new bookings for our home. Our fall bookings will be our last. We will be listing our beautiful mountain home for sale and I’ll share the listing in the coming weeks!
Family has always been everything to us and we will be purchasing a home closer to our grandchild, son and daughter in law. We will be spending our early retirement years between Florida and Connecticut for now. This is an exciting time for us but we no doubt will miss our peaceful home in the mountains we have enjoyed for the last 21 years. Seven of those years we shared our home with guests who have made precious memories as well at Laurel Creek Mountain Retreat. We would like to thank our property managers Ron and Darlene for all they have done!
I hope you will carry with you the special moments from your stays just as we will! I will continue to post pictures and thoughts here in the coming months. Any questions please message us.

Nice spot away from it all but still close to hikes and both Brevard and Hendersonville. Very comfortable and our family felt at home for a fun family getaway. Kitchen had many pans and stock to stay in and cook which is what we love to do. Recommend for a nice relaxing getaway.

Lovely home in a beautiful mountain setting. The babbling stream was a nice bonus as my kids loved searching for crayfish and salamanders. The kitchen has everything one might need, and there is plenty of dining and living space. We loved the porches too.
