Our Story
The Aurora is a magical event in the night sky. Those fortunate to have seen it in motion are in awe of the light dance spectacular. Even through photographs, everyone can appreciate the unique and brilliant luster. Childhood vacations to Drummond Island, Michigan were where I saw my first aurora. Every showing is different, just like no two snowflakes are ever the same. Aurora Luster depicts my vision of how dynamic and ever-changing life is. Items displayed are practical and whimsical. You’ll find hand-made crochet items, hand-painted ceramics, and children’s hair bows. Each piece is created with the following in mind: comfort, warmth, simplicity, sustainability, and seasonal cheer. Each piece is fashioned with love that warms and brightens the soul. Aurora Luster's vision is to bring a some of the outside in, and the inside out. A small sparkle here and something simple there will allow the owner to incorporate items into their own style. Many items are influenced by the seasons and things that make my two little girls smile.
