Great fishing on the Sound Bound this past week or so. Cobias and a few more cobias. A few big drum were released and two days we had a blast casting to big bluefish. Life got a little busy and I missed some post. I have had excellent customers, pretty days and good fishing the last two weeks. Lots of fish lots of laughs and sometimes it took persistence. Today the plan really came together Colin and Erin saw it as good as the discovery channel. I have days available next week and the cobia drum bluefish and some trout have all been biting.

I had my good friend DC fishing Tuesday morning. All his boys had a great time catching some bigger class bluefish. Robert at 19 months wasn’t phased by the cold breezy conditions. My afternoon I had some experienced young boys from KDH. Ollie Robert’s son was after a citation sheaps head for his very first sheepshead of his life and he hooked and landed it by his self.

Did not have a party today but the weather was too beautiful to sit at the dock so called up a few good friends and the wife and man it turned out to be better than expected. Lots of citation red drum were brought to the boat including Julia’s first one!

For the past 9 years of Sound Bound I have loved my skiff. It has allowed me to catch many fish, create lasting memories, and build an amazing customer base….but it was time for a change.

Introducing the new Sound Bound 2.0 a 23ft Maycraft V bottom. It has been a journey to get here but I am grateful for the opportunity to have the boat I always dreamed to have.

This new boat will allow me to expand my fishing abilities and give my customers a comfortable and enjoyable ride even on the windy days. I am already running charters and booking dates for the 2024 season.

Had the opportunity to run my fathers boat for 6 days this past week. We saw some beautiful fishing out there. Everyday was something different but by the end of the week we totaled 5 blue marlins and lots of delicious meat fish like mahi and wahoo.
