My father always told me to follow my dreams and make a career out of something I love or it will never give you true peace and happiness. I was once that kid waiting in the lines for the next retro release, and flipping shoes to make some extra income. However over the years collecting shoes started to grow old. Something just wasn't the same. After watching the same colorways come out year after

year, and seeing the quality of sneakers diminish and I was starting fall out of love with what I was once passionate about but what could I do about it? In the summer of 2015 I received news that my SOLEmate was pregnant with our wonderful son. The news changed me mentally, all I could focus on was being the rock and provide for my family. I was working 7 days a week sometimes more than 12 hours so that I could provide for him things I didn't have but there was always a hunger for more. One day while looking online at toddler sneakers I realized how bad the sneaker world was becoming with bad designs and quality. I felt bad that my son would not have the same chance to experience what I call "the golden era" of sneakers. Then it hit me, the quote my father said about finding your passion and using it to make money. At that moment I didn't realize it but what my father told me would guide me into building a legacy as I grew into fatherhood myself. I created RWBIICUSTOMS not just to restore sneakers, but more importantly to restore the love of the sneaker game and safe the culture. My custom sneakers aren't just shoes but also a work out art.
