For those hitting the ocean and waves this summer.
This is really simple. You can spot a rip current. Unfortunately, it's where it looks easiest and safest to enter the sea. This is because the rip current is looping around and pulling back OUT. Hence no waves rolling IN. NEVER ENTER THE SEA HERE. If you are already in the sea and get caught in a rip current (you'll know because you will suddenly be moved from your location and it will be impossible to swim against it) don't panic. Swim ACROSS, not against the rip current. For example, rather than trying to swim to shore while being pushed out, swim parallel to the beach and you will be able to get out. Then you can swim ashore. Please educate friends or family visiting the beaches this summer. Stay safe ❤️

We are so excited to unveil our newly remodeled Disney Condo! We have gutted it down and completely transformed this space!!! It sleeps up to 8 (including two on the sofa sleeper). Located in the Windsor Hills resort, only two miles from Disney's main gate. The resort includes an amazing clubhouse with pools, a water park, a huge game room with multiple arcades, a movie theatre, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a putting green, bbq area and much much more! Headed to the beach soon? PLEASE READ!

In exactly 14 days the sea turtle nesting season begins all over our beaches in FL, GA, AL, SC and NC. YOU CAN HELP SAVE OUR ENDANGERED SEA TURTLES. Just remember .

1. CLEAN - Keep the beach clean at the end of the day. Take all your things off the beach. Please don't leave anything at the toe of the dune where sea turtles like to nest.

2. DARK - Keep the beaches dark. Sea turtles nest in the dark. Our manmade lights are distracting and will disorient sea turtles. Turn off your flashlights, cell phone lights, porch lights and pull your curtains if your house faces the beach.

3. FLAT - After you snap a picture (or a few) of your magnificent sand castle, knock it down! Fill in all holes before you leave the beach. This is not only a safety issue for sea turtles, but humans as well. Sand caves in fast.

We all can make a difference if we each take care of our own side of the street. Be responsible for your gear, holes and lights and that would make a giant difference for the conservation in our world. Ripples go a long way! ❤️ 🌊 🐢 🏖

The Perch at Grand Panama just got a nice little upgrade — our very own outdoor closet for all our chairs, umbrellas and beach toys, right in front of our door! It’s locked with a code that we will be sharing with our guests. There is even a small faucet to help you rinse off. This means no more sandy stuff in the condo! Yay!!!
