Open Auditions Tonight (July 30) at 7pm for THE PROM at the Lake Worth Playhouse!

Production Dates: October 4 – 20, 2024
Director: Debi Marcucci
Music Director: Erin Ragonese
Choreographer: Kasandra Meiler
Stage Manager: Jessica Perry

What to Prepare:
Prepare 16 to 64 bars of a song in the style of the show, and that shows off your vocal abilities, and acting chops, especially for the role(s) that interest you. Please bring a karaoke track to accompany you. Bluetooth devices are available in the audition room.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as some actors may be taken through a basic choreography audition.

Some actors may also be asked to read from the script.

About the Show:
Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance straight and narrow, but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. School of Rock Audition Notice!

The Lake Worth Playhouse is seeking a talented adult male actor/singer for our production of School Of Rock. The candidate should possess good acting chops to portray 3 uniquely different roles, including a stringent “macho” dad, in addition to a teacher, and the officious yet lively manager of The Battle of The Bands. The rehearsal period is May 24 - July 11. Performances Fri, Sat, Sun July 12 - 28, 2024.
