We have signed our contract with our contractor who will be starting soon. We have selected our paint colors, floor tile, shower tile, lighting, countertops, and so much more. We have been able to upgrade nearly everything in our unit and so excited to see what it looks like and have guests.

Speaking of which...if you call and ask for B4 availability, the property manager is now able to book starting in early October. You can't book online yet, but can if you call. We already have reservations!

Don't wait until they publicly announce their opening dates, we will fill up fast!

Construction Update 4/12/2024: We have electricity as of about a week ago. It's nice to have an electric bill in some ways. In our last owner's townhall, the board has set a rental opening date of October 5, 2024 for the B building. Some of the other buildings will open at that same time. There are some gulf-front units that will open in late November. ALSO, it was announced that B4 is white-box complete. This means that once I finalize my contract with my finishing contractor, they will be able to start applying for the permit and ordering materials.

Here's what I think as of now:
1) Finish contract / Start permit: late April
2) Contractor start / finish: May - early July
3) Furniture & Interior Decor: August
4) SAW Common Area work completes: September

If you want to rent this year, you can contact the office and ask for Leslie to send you availability and pricing. Online booking won’t be available until about June. I already have a booking in October and a lot of the first quarter of 2025 is already booked! As soon as I have some pictures of progress, I will post them here.

Quick Construction Update: The B Building first floor units are in-progress with sheetrock. I've posted pictures from my unit, B4. There are some final processes left, but very close to having electricity available. I have heard that the upper floor units in the B building have water. No current timeline on opening up for rental reservations, but I'll post here when they are.

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian made landfall and the wind and floods devastated the island of Sanibel. Many people that lived here and businesses lost so much. While we personally have incurred the financial pains related to our B4 unit here at Sanibel Arms West, we feel lucky that the buildings are intact and can be rebuilt. All ground-floor units at Sanibel Arms West have been completely cleared to the concrete walls and will be rebuilt back to their original conditions (OR better). We don't have a timeline, but our best estimates are 2nd Quarter of 2024. Until there are more clear timelines, I believe that our property management company has offered refunds or credits towards future rentals depending on what the guest wants to do. We will establish updated rental rates and availability at a later point.

Followers of Sanibel Arms West B4, summer bookings are filling up. I only have 6/10-6/28 available for all summer. The cost is $250/night until 6/24. From 6/25-8/12, the cost is $252/night. Take your Spring Break to Sanibel, FL! There is very limited availability on the island, but my 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo at Sanibel Arms West (Unit B4) is available for only 6 nights starting March 20th. You must message me to be able to book this since there is a minimum 7-night stay without my approval. It is normally $2796 for the week, but the 6-night stay will be pro-rated accordingly. If you're staying in Sanibel for Spring Break, you will need to hurry. I have dates available starting April 2nd after that. By the way, I have BRAND NEW carpet in the 2 bedrooms!!
