Join us for an eerie evening exploring the Haunted Tales of the Battle of Nu‘uanu. Dive into the history of Kamehameha’s fated quest to unite the Hawaiian Islands. Despite the betrayal of his highest general, Kamehameha’s victory seemed blessed by the gods. His legacy is well-known, but the spiritual imprint of this epic battle lingers. Witnesses claim to see ghostly figures and hear echoes of the past. Whether you’re a history buff, paranormal enthusiast, or curious soul, this event promises an unforgettable journey into Hawaii’s haunted past.

Six Women: A Seattle History Tour

One time when after I finished giving a tour of Seattle's underground a little kid came up to me and was excitedly asking me questions. I can't remember what exactly prompted this but I took him and his parents back below and "found" a rock for him to take with him. I told him that he now was in possession of a piece of the oldest brick in the oldest wall in Seattle and that one else had anything like this! He was ecstatic. I wonder if he still has that momento.

I'm thinking of calling my new walking tour
Six Women: A Tour Through Seattle's History.
What do you all think? I am hesitant to call it a Women's History Tour because I don't really talk much about the expected roles for women in Seattle in general. I Focus on the milestones of six women who lived or worked in the Pioneer Square area. Three of whom were... not role models!
