Mid afternoon in Hluhluwe. Large Buffalo herd taking it easy before they start grazing again in the coolness of the night. We were looking for Lion, as the Lion at the reserve like to follow Buffalo herds it's a walking butchery for them

Here you can see the Leopard has difficulty walking.

We came across this leopard early morning on one of the bridges across the Sand River close to Skukuza. We thought it was very relaxed. Only to see later, it was hurt, and appeared to have a damaged hip. Maybe a damage a ligament from jumping out of a tree?

A very hot day in Hluhluwe game reserve, about 40C degrees, and at some point, it went as high as 49C celcius. But a lovely day again to be among the wildlife.

The summer is approaching soon, and can't wait to see the first Impala lamb being born. Nothing better to be among wildlife, and relax in the late afternoon with guest for a well deserved sun-downer and a BBQ
