The group decided to get dressed up for Kevin Arnold’s farewell from the tour tomorrow.

Mexican at El Toro is our choice of food. Margaritas are the choice from the bar.

The pics show everybody around the Senor on the steed.

Kev has an extra large Jim Beam and Coke while Nev surprises by only drinking two margaritas 😜!

July 19th at Eldora - night 3
Turn 3 had our attention tonight. Looking straight down the wide expanses of the back straight watching 24 cars come barrelling down into turn three every 13 seconds.

For Barry however, all he had to do was watch the one car with Rico Abreu in it. Because riding with Rico was another $105 that went right into B Lane’s skyrocket when R Abreu breasted the tape in the Night before the Kings Royal.

July 18th at Eldora - night 2
The good fortune of the few continued tonight with Bruce collecting the cash when David Gravel took the checker. He was as casual he was with his two other wins on the tour. 😜

Some months ago we updated our schedules to bring forward our next Indy 500 tour to 2024. This tour also includes the phenomenal Indiana and Illinois Midget weeks, the Little 500 at Anderson, plus many other iconic races in May and early June.

The news released today by Hendrick Motorsports makes our decision a very good one indeed.

We’ve been here in the USA now since June 15th and whilst everything has gone to plan, there were some hiccups along the way with flight arrivals.

The apparently world famous Global Speedway Tours blog has been written sparingly since then, but I haven’t publicised it because it was so far behind. Things have been hectic to say the least.

But it’s now been updated big time, given the eight hours devoted to it today. It’s now written through to June 30th which is pretty impressive considering our schedule.

Chris Windom bicycles and flips out of the park at Randolph County two minutes ago. First lap of the USAC feature. He got out of the car and reappeared from behind the fence before any safety workers arrived on the scene.
