Pomp & Ceremonial was formed in SEP 2016 by an Officer of Cadets who had significant experience in sourcing high quality ceremonial items for Defence units. Having seen the costs associated with traditional suppliers and sword manufacturers he felt there was a more cost effective way for Cadet Units in particular who did not have access to funds to afford these items and who’s funds available coul

d be better spent on cadet facing activities. Pomp & Ceremonial sources from a number of markets to ensure that high quality, well designed equipment, is available to units at reasonable prices. We are a private enterprise and not affiliated with the Australian Defence Force, or Defence Force cadets, but our team have significant experience with cadets and aim to enhance the cadet experience with our products.

Hi Everyone. In response to the feedback from my recent clean out of P&C Merchandise I've reached out to my supplier and a set of new sword slings will be $130 AUD + Postage while a sword know will be $50 + postage. Sword bags would similarly be $50. The cheapest Postage method I could find was a $10.90 parcel bag, though I will look if I can find a cheaper option for the sword knots.
If there are numbers this price may come down a little but GST and shipping are a little harder than back in the day. P&C previously supplied over 100 sets to AAFC units between 2016 and 2018. We can also do sashes, banner carriers and anything other than swords that you can see here including Navy and army gear.
If you would be interested please let me know by 20 OCT and I can figure next steps.
