In 2016, Handa Opera in Sydney Harbour presents Turandot: an exotic fantasy of a death-marked love told with the city skyline reflected in your glass, featuring the famous aria 'Nessun Dorma.'

Chinese director Chen Shi-Zheng's take on this Chinese fable will be one for the history books.

Join them at the water's edge in a pop-up opera house with purpose-built bars, restaurants and a grandstand under the stars.

The Sydney Gay and Le***an Mardi Gras Parade is an event that captivates the nation and reverberates around the world.

Join 10,000 fabulous people as they unite for a glittering explosion of pride in the heart of Sydney’s gay and le***an district.

Born from a single night of political protest in 1978, the true Mardi Gras spirit lives on 38 years later, bringing the city to a standstill with hundreds and thousands lining the streets in support of equality, pride and a dazzling spectacle of sparkles and self-expression.

The Parade joyously celebrates just how far we have come, and accepts the challenge of the journey ahead.

많은 분들이 참석하셔서 축제를 즐기시길 바라며 당일 날 행사중의 하나중 차전놀이 퍼레이드가 있습니다. 우리 모두가 한마음 한 뜻이 되어 힘을 합쳐서 중국인들 보다도 더 단합된 모습을 이번에 보이도록 합시다. 차전놀이 준비를 위해서 젊은 한국인 여러분들 100명 이상이 필요합니다. 아시다싶이 세계에 나아가 있는 대부분의 중국인들은 단합이 너무 잘 되어가고 있습니다. 우리 한국 사람들도 중국인들 못지 않게 많이 모여서 단합된 모습을 보이도록 합시다.

차전놀이는 진취적인 우리의 기상뿐 아니라 공동체에서 자신의 역할을 가장 잘 일깨워주는 한국의 전통 놀이입니다. 힘든 줄 모르고 소리지르며 힘을 쓰는 가운데 신명이 고조되고 저절로 운명공동체의 성원으로 자각하게 되는 놀이입니다.
