Paro Taktsang, also known as Tiger's Nest, is a sacred and iconic monastery perched on a cliffside in the Paro Valley of Bhutan. Clinging to a sheer rock face at an elevation of 3,120 meters (10,240 feet), this architectural marvel is a symbol of Bhutanese spirituality and a major pilgrimage site. The monastery complex consists of four main temples, interconnected by stairways.

Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, flew to this location on the back of a tigress, meditating in a cave where Taktsang now stands. Visitors must embark on a challenging trek to reach the monastery, navigating through lush forests and breathtaking vistas.
