Chase will be living at the Athletics club in long wittenham, that has its own club house, large field/ outside space, park, car parking and away from main roads. We hope to make this location an ideal party venue in our community and value your support.

PLAYBUS FOR SALE! NOW SOLD!

As many of you already know, after 10 fun filled years of running Chase Playbus, Emily and I have made the hard decision to sell the business.

We no longer have the time required to run the business and after nearly 10 years we need our weekends back.

For any interested buyers the business will include the Playbus which will come with an Mot (Jan 25), website, social media sites and any leftover printed t-shirts, hoodies, rucksacks printed magnets etc. See our website www.chaseplaybus.co.uk or page for more photos of the bus. The bus has had a full engine rebuild at a cost of nearly 8K about 4 years ago and 7K on chassis restoration around 2 years ago. Full receipts available. Vehicle checks by your own mechanic welcomed.

The Playbus has over £10K of custom vinyl graphics on the outside which aids in advertising while driving to parties and parked up. Full CCTV throughout with a viewing screen both inside and outside the bus, Reversing Camera with screen, £3K Air-conditioning and Heating system, Fans, Custom printed Chase Playbus branded flooring and stainless-steel wheel coverings.

The play area consists of over £30k professionally fitted soft play equipment with a surrounding padded frame preventing the children from reaching any windows. The soft play area consists of a printed log slide, spinning disc, biff & bash hanging snakes, cargo net climb, split level playframe, secret tunnels, ball pool, log squeeze rollers, infinity mirrors, colour lights, soft shapes and building blocks. Fitted with the highest standard of soft play equipment available, manufactured, built and inspected to British and European Standard BS 8409 and BS EN 1176.

Should the Playbus to stay in the area it would benefit from lots of repeat customs including many councils, schools, nurseries and businesses as well as induvial parties but would also be very easy to relocate.

In the last few months running the business, we have been hired for a full day booking at Landrover Jaguar, 3generate for a full weekend at the NEC and several full day bookings from various schools and nurseries in the local area as well as our ongoing birthday parties. We have limited ourselves to a maximum of 4 private parties a weekend for the last few years due to our other commitments and limited time but we did do 6 parties a weekend + after school weekday parties for many years before.

It will be a sad day when the Playbus sells and we would love to continue for many more years but sadly we cannot commit the time required anymore so it’s time to pass it on to someone else who can.

We are selling the Playbus with a MOT etc but it will be sold as a stationary project due to two know faults. Should you want to continue the business as a mobile one we would recommend fitting a new oil cooler as ours was removed when it broke and we have never done enough miles in a day to require a new one. The bus also has a leak on the power steering air system, this doesn’t affect the driving of the bus it just requires the power steering fluid to be topped up.

Should you wish to continue as a mobile project without fixing these problems that would also be possible as the bus is mechanically sound and these faults are not MOT failures.
