We've had a bit of a rough year or so trying to get repairs done since the little boat was damaged in a Storm Eunice. It's been tough getting this organised and overseen from Portugal, and I've been let down by a few people we employed to do things. However ... my wonderful son is joining me in ownership and management of the boat and we are finally on the UP! Narrowboat Emma Hamilton should be available again for holiday rental this summer season :)

After Storm Eunice caused a lot of damage to the exterior of the boat, renovations are finally underway and we're aiming to have our Little Boat on the Larkie - Narrowboat Emma Hamilton ready for guests again in May!

Exciting news is that my wonderful son Max Jamieson is joining me in co-ownership of Emma Hamilton :)

The boat will still be managed by our awesome boat neighbour Stacey Burling to ensure our guests have the best experience and a unique stay in this fabulous location.

Sadly Narrowboat Emma Hamilton has been damaged by the extremely strong winds yesterday. The bedroom window is smashed, and the "pram hood" covering the back deck has been seriously ripped.

Unfortunately this means well have to cancel all existing bookings, and not accept any new ones, for at least the next couple of months, until repairs have been carried out.

Thousands are left without power, travel networks are disrupted and hundreds of schools are closed.
