What a gorgeous weekend! The sun came out and so did the yoga mats. Thank you to Karen for the sessions - everyone felt so refreshed and rejuvenated by Sunday morning! Thank you to Sal for being our resident chef. Our guests were treated to absolutely delicious three course meals every evening with Karen’s freshly baked bread for breakfast. All this and a dip in the Helford and a trip to Trebah Gardens on the Saturday afternoon too. Thank you so much to everyone who attended. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Absolutely fantastic day out today. We often recommend this as a day out for our guests but haven’t actually been there ourselves for years!! They do the most amazing work saving seals from illness and injuries and to watch them in recovery moving swiftly through the water is mesmerising 🥰🥰🦭🦭🦭 a wonderful day for kids too with seed planting 🌱 and craft activities alongside really fascinating talks and demonstrations. We also saw puffins 😍

Loved this last night. The screening of award winning play by Jack Thorne. How lucky are we to have on our doorstep so we can watch brilliant work from London’s National Theatre. There is a fabulous exhibition on by too with beautiful paintings of The Helford river, our Cornish gem of clear water. Also highly recommend the makers shop with gorgeous local jewellery and pottery for sale too. The Poly is a vital part of our local arts community so we always recommend a visit to our guests.

The new wood burner going into Longue barn is a Dovre. A vintage piece with a very unusual look. Decorated with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff and why not? !!
