Fishing in 3 systems each with 2 estuaries into sea lochs giving a variety of fishing from sea pools to hill lochs for salmon, sea trout and brown trout with the occasional arctic char. Also self-catering in 5 properties on the South-east coast of Harris only 20 mins from Harris' beautiful beaches.

Back to wet and windy today, so good to look back on earlier this week and last.

Beautiful day today, better than Saturday when I was putting in our lovely new doorstops from , thank you they're beautiful.
1 week to go for the trout season which ends on 6th. Our salmon and sea trout finishes 31st so there's still time for a break.

We've experienced one or two results of the recent solar activity in the way of the - why not join us and hope this period of solar activity blesses your stay.
You don't have to be an angler to stay with us, but the brown trout season finishes 6th October and the salmon and sea trout season extends to the 31st, so there is still time. Link to our website in the bio.

Chris Michalek had a great week out on the lochs, catching this 6lb brownie and then a double figure sea trout later in the week. We have the video but are having difficulties uploading, so here's a still showing the fish which Chris did really well to land with no net, (still in the boat), and on a light trout rig up, hand tailing it on a very narrow bankside. Well done Chris.
Both were caught on the fly and released. The sea trout on a squirrel tail medicine type fly, and the large brownie on a Clan Chief muddler variant (Davie McPhail).
