… 🫖 don’t mind if I do! I Have been feeling particularly nostalgic for some British traditions - mainly a cup of tea and a slice of cake 🍰 . There’s plenty of spots at for all of our guests to partake in afternoon tea - from the terrace, to dining room, to front lawn, back patio, the playroom snug shown here 👆🏽or just simply and happy bustling round the kitchen table, close enough to the kettle for plenty of refills. Plan an afternoon tea on your stay at our home from home - handy tips and hints can be given by the booking team for local farm shops, caterers and if it’s a particular tea party celebration there’s even mix matched vintage tea sets and cake plates at the house if you request them!

We at love food, almost as much as the fabulous ladies … we’ve made sure there’s plenty of seating & table space at to feast together with family & friends on gorgeous local goodies like these for breakfast or equally their locally sourced hampers - they are literally one of our favourite local small business and right on our doorstep. We regularly use for gifts for guests at our & cannot recommend them & their service highly enough check them out & book a treat for your stay!

Getting summer stay ready, and the busy period preparations and jobs at are well underway. We always try our best to make sure there’s a little stock of staples for guests to use and enjoy - olive oil, tea, coffee, sugar amongst others but most importantly salt and vinegar for fish and chips!

in the started off life as an artists tin shack workshop on a piece of land. The house ‘sprouts’ and ‘Spurs’ off this original building through a glass corridor. Now said ‘shack’ is the playroom/extra bedroom, seen here ☝🏼with the bed made up for grown up kids or extra friends coming as an additional to a family stay. I have to be honest and admit a quick filter has been applied just to make those cushions pop and highlight one of my favourite feature chandelier lights from but the natural light in this space is just beautiful as it flows down from the very large vaulted skylight

Slate cottage is styled to be a but with a nod to quirk thrown in. Somewhere you can relax, hang out, stay in, get out, adventure, be together or be apart, celebrate or reflect. Featured here this gorgeous hare lamp - Check out the ears and feet looking totally fabulous stood on the original g-plan bedside table. Also featured a particularly snuggly shaggy cushion (one of many cushions in the house) perfect for getting comfy on chilly days
