Good morning all,
Extremely strong W to SW winds will develop over southwest England early on Friday.
Inland gusts of 70-80mph are likely and up to around 90mph near some coasts.
Dangerous conditions are expected on beaches and seafronts so please avoid these areas.
Flying debris and uprooted trees are very possible, meaning a potential danger to life. Stay indoors unless travel is essential.
Roads, bridges and railway lines could be affected causing travel delays.
Power cuts are also possible.
Winds are expected to ease from the west during the late morning.
