It's estimated that 50 tons of litter are dumped on Scotland's roadsides every month, including cans, bottles, cups, crisp packets, and food wrappers.

The North Coast 500 has amazing views, but litter can threaten wildlife and the environment.

In the event that there are no bins, or the bins provided are full, please take your waste with you and dispose of it responsibly, recycling where possible.

And when travelling with pets, collect their waste and put it in a "poo bin" or waste bin.
