We are gearing up to welcoming our guests after closing for the winter. And hope that we will see you soon! We are excited to announce that we will have a new property for you to stay in to explore Cornwall from May 2022.
Primrose 2 is our largest property with two large bedrooms and open plan kitchen, sitting room and dinning space with view across the gardens. Primrose 2 will comfortably sleep 5 people.

Once the home of our ponies, Mr Chips, Pepper and Tia, now converted to sleep 4 (+1) opening into private fields with stream and woodland.

Our Story

Durian Escapes has evolved from our family home into providing perfectly located self catering holiday accommodation. We moved to Lower Durian Farm in April 2013. There was limited running water, no heating and the house needed urgent renovations. But we were in love with the space, the views, the woodland, stream and incredible 10 acres of land and the freedom it would give us. Over time we renovated the farm house and the out buildings which are now known as Durian House.

We live as a multi generational family; our parents, us and our children and love opening Durian House up to guests to fall in love with the views and surrounding countryside as much as we have.

We pride ourselves on keeping it simple, being child and dog friendly and making sure you are comfortable and its ‘home from home’ with a base to explore Cornwall to your hearts content.
