The eruption has started again, and now the lava has reached the town of Grindavîk. Everyone is safe, but people are watching their homes burn as the lava runs through the town.Iceland is still safe. This is just a small part of the island that has been evacuated.

This couple was lucky, not all have survived those waves. Please be careful visiting the Black sand beach.
This one needs a little explanation.
On one of our tours, we drove past the Blue Lagoon and stopped on the side of the road to enjoy the beautiful view. When we got out of our car, we could hear ducklings but couldn’t see them, but the mother was standing close to an old drill hole and wouldn’t move. As we looked down the 1.5 meters hole, we could see three little ducklings at the bottom. We tried getting them out with the bit of equipment we had, but no luck, so we rushed over to the Blue Lagoon and borrowed a “trash picking thing.” Approx 45 minutes later, after having a word with the mother who kept attacking me, all three little ducklings were up, alive and unhurt, back with their mother.
We filled up the hole and continued with our tour.
