I spent the last two weeks in Nubri, one of the most beautiful and sacred valleys in Nepal. People in Kathmandu often tell me, “I had much better access to water in my village.” After visiting this Himalayan region, I now have a better understanding of what that means and just how much how much access to piped water can improve public health. Plus I visited a monastery where holy water flows through the taps and experience a part of Nepal so different from any other place I’ve been in the country. None of this would have been possible without such an amazing research team! 🇳🇵
