Ramdung is the name of the peak of 5,925 meter height in Rolwaling valley. When our founder Mr. Saila Tamang stood on summit in 1989 AD, he decided that it is an ideal name to start up with. In year 1993 A.D, this company was established and that was our beginning. Since then, Ramdung has legacy of conducting the best treks and trekking expeditions in the country.
Over the last 20 year, our team has been continuously exploring the Himalayas of Nepal and we continue to do so. Apart from regular area (Everest, Langtang, Annapurna), we have organized wide range of challenging treks such as Dhaulagiri circuit, most section of Great Himalaya Trails, Kanchenjunga to Makalu GHT traverse, Makalu to Everest GHT, Upper Dolpo to Mustang etc. to name few.
Moreover, we are specialize in tented treks and trekking expeditions. We recommend more remote, pristine, and less explored parts of the Himalayas.
