Randy Monroe is the Founder / Director of Education and Training for On Point Self Defense. Prior to leaving New York in the Fall of 2013 he served as a Department of Health Certified R**e Crisis Counselor, was an active member of the Broome County Sexual Assault Response Team Community Education and Outreach Task Force, and a Crisis Line volunteer for the Crime Victims Assistance Center. He holds
black belts in Kyokushin Karate, Tang Soo Do, and Chishin Ryu with both national and international certifications. Monroe has conducted extensive research into violence against women including both written works and live sources of information. Course and Seminar material has been vetted by recognized experts in the field of law enforcement, forensic medicine, physiology, and violence. From June of 2013 until present, Randy has been on sabbatical, to pursue additional training in the United States and abroad. He is currently residing in Richmond, Virginia where he is collaborating with colleagues regarding future seminars and instruction in the area.
