Our condo rebuild is progressing nicely. We have drywall complete, new windows, doors and cabinets are being installed this week.

We have just opened up our VRBO calendar to accept reservations starting in 2024. We still have prime weeks open in February and March.

Hello…just an update to let everyone know the progress at Loggerhead Cay. Things are moving along nicely and the framing of our unit will begin very soon. The complex has already framed out several buildings with electrician and plumbers not far behind.

The pool repairs are done and it’s looking great. All new pool furniture has also arrived along will all new gas grill with 2 more grilling stations closer to the gulf front units! We are hopeful the electricity will be at full power by September-October.

In the process of rebuilding, I’d like some input from those of you who have vacationed on Sanibel.

What are your favorite amenities?

*Are bathtubs important to you (as
opposed to showers only)?
*A drink cooler for the beach?
*Cable TV or just Smart TV?
*Pod/drip combo coffee maker?
*Crockpot?
*Area rugs?

Hello Fans! Just an update on Loggerhead Cay and our condo.

The work is moving along well and our unit has been gutted and treated for environmental issues. We will be able to start the rebuilding process after the first of the year as we must wait until we have electricity and water not to mention all the building permits. Looking forward to making our condo perfect with a new open kitchen….new everything!

We love our island and are 100% invested in it’s rebuild. My husband has been volunteering on island & I’ve been busy planning our remodel. We will be completely gutting and rebuilding our place due to the storm surge that destroyed everything. We hope to be back in 12-16 months ♥️🤞🤗

So sad what hurricane Ian has done to our island however we will persevere and be better & stronger. If you had a VRBO reservation for my property you will be refunded your money, please just give us a little time as this is a huge financial burden for us. If you booked through our property management company, Sanibel Holiday, be patient as they make their way back to the island to access their reservations. They will take care of you as soon as they can.
