McGregor Country Getaways Update:

The time has come to close McGregor Country Getaways down. Thank you for everyone's support over the last 8 years.

We are so grateful that our staff will still have jobs as we hand them over to Lucille Nel and Ellen Oerleman who are launching Be in McGregor as of 1st July. They run a successful business similar to ours in a small town, Betty's Bay.

They are truly the dream team and I believe that they will bring an even greater service to the village and create even more jobs. They are dynamic, passionate, talented, creative, kind, compassionate and brilliant business-minded women whose hearts are in the right place.

They will be taking over our team of workers and properties as of 1st July.

At Francolin Cottage, the main house has 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) plus 2 bathrooms (1 bath, 2 showers) with open plan dining area and lounge.

The family kitchen leads onto a lovely outside stoep with built-in braai.

There's also an additional garden flat with 1 main double bedroom en-suite with open plan kitchenette and cosy lounge area.

This cottage sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms, two double and one twin. All bedrooms have air-conditioners and the main bedroom has an en-suite and an outdoor shower with French doors leading onto the front veranda.

The twin and double rooms have large sash windows with a shared spacious ‘Victorian’ shower room.

In the garden is a wooden cabin with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. The cabin sleeps two people and can be booked at an additional cost. The cabin can only be booked with the cottage. No one will be in the cabin during your stay at the cottage if you do not book the cabin.
