A HOT outdoor shower 🚿 & access to the toilet in the shed!! No more kids filled with sand screaming as the cold water out of the hose hits them!!

The change of season means our vines in the portico are slowly losing their leaves which also means, it’s time to do some maintenance on the wood of the portico. We love keeping the house looking it’s best which means maintenance is a priority!! BUT the weather is beautiful, the tunes are pumping & I couldn’t think of a better house to maintain!!

The first thing I do when we get back into the house is throw my bags down and go for “the book”. The book being our guest book!! It’s one of my favourite things to do! We love reading it and seeing what our guests get up to, what they enjoyed & seeing a little pic if they choose to share one with us.

One of the hardest things about not managing the property ourselves is not getting to connect with all the amazing families & friends that stay at Ryze’n’Shine. We love to meet people & share experiences!!

I’m also currently creating another book, one that includes all our go to places in the region, must know tidbits about the house. I cannot wait to have it down in the house ♥️♥️

It’s finally getting to that time of year when the temperature starts to drop and we can light up the fire.

The sound of the crackling fire while you are snuggled up on the super comfy couches appreciating a red wine / drink of your choice… could not think of a better way to enjoy an autumn / winter evening.

Whilst the summers down in Dunsborough are amazing, we truly love the winters. It’s quieter, it’s not crazy with visitors, there are plenty of indoor venues that will keep you very well fed & entertained & even on those bad weather days, the home itself has plenty that you can do!

Hi to all our new followers!!

We are the family behind the Ryze’n’Shine holiday house.

We wanted to create a space for families like ours to holiday comfortably, without worry and to travel with as little as possible.

We wanted to create a space that is quiet so you can relax but still be close enough to all of the fantastic attractions the south west has to offer.

A holiday space that is just not a place you go to sleep but a home away from home.

A space that all family members absolutely love including our paw 🐾 babies!

Same portico area, different view!!! I love this outdoor area & I cannot wait for our vines to re-establish themselves so they can provide the shade/ filtered sunlight we all love and adore!!

Our amazing property maintenance guys do an amazing job at keeping all our garden needs attended to & our pot plants loved! Thanks for keeping it in tip top shape at all times guys!!

The en-suite. Features a lovely rain shower head, toilet, basin & beauty bar (not shown in photo). Both the en-suite and the bathroom have heated floors, perfect for winter time when those tiles can be cold!! Both bathrooms are large with plenty of room to move around!

The bathroom… what more can I say, there is a lovely freestanding bath (with bath toys for the kiddos), a lovely open ended shower & plenty of bench space. You will also find a salon quality hair dryer in the drawer… for those like me with super thick hair, we’ve got you covered!!

The house is a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom set up. Both bathrooms can be found on the ground floor.

Showing the playroom for our younger guests yesterday, Ryze’n’Shine set up the upstairs lounge as a games rooms with the teens in mind.
1. It’s tucked away upstairs, giving them the sense that no one is watching.
2. The arcade machine with more games than you can count.
3. The upstairs TV with connection to Stan, Netflix & Disney+.
4. The additional HDMI cable & spare powerboard for the gaming consoles.
5. The Sonos speaker with connection to the houses Spotify account to play some tunes whilst chilling.

There is a space for all ages in this house, perfect for those family vacays!

A super popular room in the Ryze’n’Shine home, the play room!! As Parent’s the one thing I dislike about holidaying is having to not only pack 100 clothing items to cover the possibility of all weather BUT the fact that I also usually have to pack all sorts of activities to keep the kids busy as we do not allow a lot of screen time on devices.

Queue stripping out the office & turning it into a kids playroom! This room stops you from having to pack activities & toys (except the colouring, we don’t provide paper, pens or pencils due to white walls and young child artists ♥️) that keep the worlds biggest critics regarding holidays busy!! It’s well stocked, updated often & a enjoyable space for our little guests!! Combine that with lots of garden games, a rainbow mud kitchen & bikes available for use, we have the kids covered!!

This holiday home is made for families, making life easier and holiday packing easier until the end of time 🎉

This area is the upstairs balcony & the perfect place for your morning coffee while watching the sun rise over Geographe Bay. With soo many areas in the house, it’s easy to find a little quiet place & this one is perfect for some quiet time!!

The portico, where all the outdoor cooking & eating happens. This area is one of my favorites at Ryze’n’Shine. I love the contrasting colours, the setup, the plants & the exposed brick.

With a 4 burner BBQ & a wood fired pizza oven, there are unlimited options of what you could be cooking!!

Upon check in at Ryze’N’Shine, we gift our guests wine from our favourite winery in the region,

Wine on the menu is a bottle of Madfish Shiraz 2017 & Madfish Prosecco NV along with a voucher for you to use if you visit the wine cellar, which I highly recommend (it’s stunning).

Open planned living areas, I adore them. They are inviting, they are family friendly, they are conversation continuers 😂

This is what is on the “other side” of the kitchen bench. This space is super cosy, the couches are super comfy & in winter when you can light up the fireplace, it makes for the perfect drink wine and play card games area.

It also a great area for the kids to unwind whilst the adults are busy preparing meals. The house also has Netflix, Stan & Disney+. With that variety, there will always be something that you can watch!!

The kitchen, one of the most important places in a house and one that gets the most action!!

The Ryze’n’Shine kitchen is a very well designed space. It’s open, allowing for those stuck in the kitchen preparing meals to still be included in the conversations and happenings of the house. It has a huge amount of bench space for the looks like me that like to spread out, it has all the appliances you could need, it has all the cutlery & crockery you could ever need & the a large fridge to fit all the food you find whilst your out exploring our wonderful region!!

Our final queen room, our industrial themed room with its metal bed frame, black furniture, it’s completely different compared to all the other rooms. This room is found across the hall from the bunk room & next door to the bathroom.

I have a soft spot for this room, I love the dark colours, the red brick wall & the art we have hanging on the wall.

This is one of our amazing queen rooms was my favourite to style!! This room is directly next to the bunk room and across the hall from the bathroom!! Perfect room for parents who like to stay close to the little ones. ♥️

This room features a queen bed, large built in robe with mirrors, bench to place bags or buttocks on.

It also is home to my favourite books and nick nacks!!

All the queen and king rooms also feature wall lights next to the beds if you enjoy reading & USB ports to charge all those electronic gadgets we have in our lives 📱⌚️

Another day, another room.

This is the other king bed at Ryze’n’Shine. You can find this beauty upstairs. If your looking for a little seclusion in the house, this is the room to stay in. This room, along with a games/ TV lounge area are the only two rooms upstairs at Ryze’n’Shine. Wake up & head straight onto the balcony to watch the sun rise overlooking the beautiful Geographe Bay.

When it comes to bedding configuration, the house is made up of 2x king beds, 2x queen beds & a bunk room (for children only) containing 4 beds.

Hands up if you love a 4 poster 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ 🙋!!!

At Ryze’n’Shine, we know that the beds can make or break your stay!! That is why we invested in good quality mattresses. Each bed (except the bunks) has been kitted out with Silent Night Onyx Plush from these mattresses are amazing, soft but firm.

Now on to the rooms!! Each rooms has its own individual style. The home is themed coastal and this is carried through to the master suite by the use of blues & the coral wall hangings. The room features the very beautiful king sized 4 poster, 2 large sliding door cupboards & ensuite.

This room definitely has guests arguing about who stays in it!!!
